About Rudrabhishekam
Rudrabhishekam is worship of Lord Shiva: the Shiva linga is bathed while the priests chant the Sri Rudram. Families do it on Mondays, Pradosham, Shivaratri, in the month of Shravana, or for peace in the home. Laghu Rudra and Rudra Homa are larger versions with more priests. It usually takes 2–3 hours with 2–5 priests.
