About the Pancha Bhoota Yatra

The Pancha Bhoota Sthalams are five Shiva temples in the south. In each one, Shiva is worshipped as one of the five elements (pancha bhoota) that make up the world and the body: earth, water, fire, air and sky.

Pilgrims make this yatra to honour all five together, and many go to the temple of the element linked to the planet whose period they are in. It is a traditional practice for peace of mind, not a promise of any result.

The My Shrine team takes you to all five temples from Bengaluru and back: Kanchipuram and Srikalahasti on the first day, then Tiruvannamalai, Chidambaram and Thiruvanaikaval. Travel, hotels and vegetarian meals are included.

FROM YOUR BIRTH CHART

Is this the yatra for you now?

Each graha has an element in Jyotisha. Your Kundali in the My Shrine app shows the element of the dasha you are in and the Pancha Bhoota temple for it: fire for Surya, Angaraka and Ketu, water for Chandra and Shukra, earth for Budha, air for Shani and Rahu, and sky for Guru.
